The warm weather is starting to fade, and Winter is approaching. As seasons are starting to shift, we want to know which season of the year is your favorite to play golf. Let us know in the quick poll below and add a comment to tell us why!

Here in Fla. we have 1 season, "golf season".
  4. Love summer time golf because days are longer and you can get 18 in after work
  5. As a personal preference, fall in Italy is the best time to play, you still have a decent amount of sun light but at the same time you have mild to warm temperature (15 to 25 celsius deg).
And the leaves falling are fascinating.

I play in the spring, summer and fall.

My favorite is playing summer nights after work with a group of buddies enjoying the extra daylight.

Give me 95* and sunny every day of the year. Rather be hot than cold.

I say Winter, because winter in South Florida is pretty great.

Don't fall for this. It's a scam. Everyone knows golf is a year round sport.

I can only pick one??? Admittedly, living in Southern California we get the spoils of multiple "seasons" to play. I know some might even argue we don't really have "seasons" - just mild changes in weather/temps.

I picked Summer for the early morning + late afternoon options to jump out and play/practice. But I really enjoy traveling during Spring and Fall to other locals and playing new courses. We are blessed to live in such a beautiful country with a variety scenery and diversity.

    Enjoy the journey!

Summer.. They're all dandy, but summer has longest hours of daylight!

I like playing in the fall because not as many people are playing.. I am a fast player who plays better without having to wait as much..

Course conditions in WI are drier, thunderstorm activity is about zero. Temps are comfortable (generally under 85). Can book a time and not worry about changing weather forecasts.

Got to agree with Don. Conditions in Wisconsin can be quite favorable through the summer season (however short that may be compared to other regions of the country). I'm originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where we were lucky to get 3-4 weeks of *80+ degree weather per year. That said, I'm very accustomed to golf in the *50-*60 range.
  17. Would like to try Titleist

Being a year-round Florida resident, it's tough to pick 1 so I'll rank them.
    1. Fall
    2. Spring
    3. Winter
    4. Summer

Summer early morning tee times are the best makes my body feel good. But we do play all year round here in the high desert.

Summer works for me. Only a few of us crazy's out there in the Arizona afternoon heat but it makes for fast rounds and cheap rates. I can get on some really great courses that stay booked up all winter.

My brother is the same way. He’s at sun city grand. He said it’s tough in the summer with the heat, but he play early, get done, and jumps in his pool and the takes a nap! Not a bad gig! Can’t wait to retire! Also…the snow birds are gone so he can actually get a tee time

Play pretty much year round but summer is the winner for me. The longer days allow for a late tee time. Fall and spring are really good also. It's just that fall has all the leaves to contend with and spring brings a better chance of rain. The only draw back in the summer is the humidity and the afternoon pop up thunderstorms.
