    Hey everyone,

Time for another update from the road with Tom Coyne. In this latest episode, Tom hits the links with Joel Murray (who was in one of my all-time favorite movies from the 80s - One Crazy Summer - it’s a classic) and they swap some hilarious stories. Press play and enjoy!

    About This Episode:

On this week's episode of The Links Life, Tom embarks on an epic day of golf with the hilarious Joel Murray at Canal Shores Golf Course in Chicago.

Together they take on the iconic course while trading stories of Bill Murray, 80s movies, caddying as kids & giving back to the game they both love so much.

These episodes are great! Thanks for sharing. Brings back so many laughs from growing up.

It would be a treat to spend a day on the course with Tom, let alone to hear all of the back and forth from these guys.

So good! My favorite part is 8:33 to about 9:04. Murray couldn't have answered it any better. I'm really enjoy watching these clips... Thanks for sharing.

After watching a few more times, I really do agree that the little white ball we call chase around golf courses is really an opening to expanding relationships. I try and cherish each opportunity to play/meet someone new and take in the course from their perspective/point of view. What brings you here..? Why play golf..? What brought you to take up golf...? On and on the questions start to fly.

Growing up as a caddie, I didn't always appreciate what opportunities the game of golf presented. Watching and listening to Tom and Joel go back and forth with their lifelong connections to golf has so many similarities. The Links Life episodes are really great to watch and listen. All of the connections I have been fortunate to have made and how many more I can hopefully look to expand on. The series really is a neat way for me personally to think back and really appreciate this great game.

To further my own journey, I really owe so much to the Team Titleist crew. Back when I was lucky enough to get picked to try the new SureFit in the 910. I was just so impressed with how much this group wanted amateurs to understand that we can get the same equipment that the TOUR pros were using. That really opened my eyes and drove my curiosity. Being part of a launch of a new product was unreal. Only understanding the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all that goes into such a process was just overwhelming. The Team Titleist group was just awesome in explaining very candidly that WE as golfers have so have so much input as what is really needed for every golfer to provide the BEST equipment to help us become better and get the most out of this great game.

To close the loop on my opening comment, all of the equipment, technology and opportunities all go back to the people who put it all on the line to ensure that nothing but the best is in play when it has "Titleist" stamped on it. It is the people who work day in and day out, the people you meet on the course or practice green that is my true connection to this game! I personally try and take each opportunity as a chance to learn something new, meet someone new, or just make a great shot that keeps me coming back to golf.

All I can say is that without Team Titleist and segments similar to Tom's that Titleist shares, I would not be the person I am today and certainly would not have made all of the great friends and expanded family members connections over the past 18 years.

Thank you Team Titleist, both employees of Acushnet (Mike D, Rick V, Karen G, Dave S, Joe H, Dan G, and the list would go on...) as well as all of the great Team Titleist members I have met over the years.

    Best

  6. Tom does a great job with these features. Love Murray and how they interacted with the kids on the course! Golf does let us see grandeur in nature and people. Thanks!
