Oakley makes lens tints (G30) specific to golf that Adam Scott wears. I use them the entire round and don't need to remove them on the greens since they aren't a dark tint, and as the lenses are made to add more contrast to see more variations on the green.

    Hi Ned,
I know that sunglasses like clubs can be a personal like/dislike, but I just bought a pair of Oakley Flak Jacket with Prism lens and WOW is all I can say! Much better than my non prescription Oakley Transition lens.

I run swoosh shades all the time. These are what I have and what included lens I use I wear any of these all the time...and when I say all the time I mean day or night!

    EV0620 - Orange Blaze Lens
EV0672 - Max Transitions Outdoor Lens

EV0621 - Max Golf Tint Lens (I don't use these, I had my prescription put in them. The Golf Tint Lens is too dark for my liking)

I have had Maui Jim's and also Ray Ban but I always go back to Oakley Flak jackets with the golf specific lenses. Best vision and protection you can get for golf.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I have been researching the Oakley Flak Jackets with the golf prizm lenses, and I may just have to give them a shot.
  6. I wish I could play with sunglasses on. Tried several times just don't play as well.

I own an optical shop and have tried Oakley, Maui Jim, Costa, Vaurnet, Bolle, Persol, Reptile, Carrera, Serengetti, Rudy Project and many others. The only consistent trait that all of the manufacturers share if they label lenses for "golf" is having an amber/brown lens. some are polarized , some are not. Personally I wear only polarized lenses in my sunglasses except for golf. I find that a polarized lens eliminates the glare which makes it harder to see the grain of the grass.

I've recently purchased a few pairs of Shady Ray's X-Series glasses and I love them. Under $50 PLUS, 30 day no questions asked return policy with free shipping, a great warranty that covers lost or broken glasses, (yes, I said lost!) and fantastic customer service. Now, I shouldn't need to use the warranty since mine are in Titleist sunglasses cases but you never know. :-)

  9. Sunglasses are really an awesome accessory which makes are look cool and along with it protects our eyes from eye problems. There are many reputed online stores for sunglasses like oakley, citysunglass (http://www.citysunglass.com) and more that offer sports sunglasses.
