Why is Titleist the best golf ball?

    Consistent performance. Reliable ball flight, durable cover, predictable spin. What else is there?

    Living in the desert (Phoenix) many of our courses are pretty firm, tee to green. I want a ball with maximum spin around the greens so I play the ProV1x. I checks up nicely as I tend to always hit the ball too close to the flag.

    The Titleist golf ball unleashes my talent on the course, helping me to play more like a professional with each round. As I improve as a player, there's a golf ball that's right for me to allow me to perform my best. I started with the NXT Tour in high school and have been playing ProV1X ever since I started with my college team. Knowing the quality of the brand and the dedication of the people behind the brand, I love being associated with Titleist in every way possible.

    Since work keeps me too busy to practice on my game as much as I want to (not complaining since I do have a job that I can do during quarantine), I play Titleist so I know that the ball will give me the best chance to score well.

    For me it's mostly about the green-side performance. I know exactly what my Pro V1 will do when I make the swing (provided I do my part). Whether I need a low skip and stop or a flopper that lands like a hacky sack, I have no doubts about the balls performance. In a typical round I only hit about 50% of GIRs so getting up and down around the greens is vital to making a good score. The Pro V1 is always predictable in performance which frees me up to concentrate on the shot.

    I have played prov1’s for as long as I can remember my playing partners have switched from one brand to another depending on which pro they see using another ball i.e. TM Bridgestone Calloway and so forth yet it’s always the same there is no consistency or durability when it compares to my prov1 I love it when they keep telling Me I shouldn’t be out driving them especially since there is at least a 15 to 20 year age gap Alot I believe has to do with my prov1 and now trying the new AVS expect same results.

    I have always loved playing the Pro V1/x golf balls and especially the Pro V1X during the summer. The distance is great and control around the greens and putting can't be beat. I would like to try the AVX ball. Hope to get some and give them a try. Thanks Titleist!

    Well since I don't get to practice as much as I want to in order to improve my game, I know that playing Titleist gives me the best chance to score well!

    I agree completely with the comments above regarding missed shots. As a "HIGH" handicap, (let just say it's like asking a woman how much she weighs) I abuse the right to hit bad shots. but one thing is for sure. The ball tells me and rewards me for my good ones. (and some of my bad ones).

    As I get better, I always know that I can trust my Pro V1x to be predictable. Even when my swing sometimes isn't.

    As has been said by many others, Titleist products provide exceptional levels of consistent quality and performance; consequently, my trust in Titleist products remains high as well.

    I agree with everything that’s been said, but for me it’s the confidence I feel stepping in to hit a Titleist with every club in my bag. Drives go further, iron shots fly consistent, wedges are accurate and they always roll true on putts. One last thing to worry about on the course.

    Shot to shot, hole to hole, round to round, season to season you know when you hit it right it will fly the exact distance you are looking for, stop when expected and roll into the hole every time.

    This year's Pro V1 is the best ball I've ever used. Love the ball flight and distance and spin plus the durability is a great improvement. I'm very picky about blemishes, scuffs, etc.
    I strongly suggest that you leave it alone this time and don't change it!

    So my love affair with Titleist balls started 65 years ago! My Mom and Dad were avid golfers, Mom played the Dunlop Maxfli and Dad played the Titleist Acushnet! At 8 yrs old I was thrilled to tag along with them at the 9 hole tract Canton Public Golf Course in Canton CT. They let me hit a few shots with cut down clubs after being out of sight of the clubhouse but then turned me loose to find balls on the 8th and 9th holes. The prize find always was a Titleist which the best golfers at the time played! I found this to be true when I caddied at Chippanee Country Club In Bristol four years later! Titleist was the best ball played!
    So my Dad scored an ace On the 2nd hole with a Titleist I found for him. Mr Lowell, owner of CPGC sent the ball off to Titleist who inscribed it and mounted it on the wooden ash tray and sent it back for my Dad.( He also received a case of Absorbine Junior).
    So from that time on I always played a Titleist ( now the ProV1)! The ball was the most consistent in all phases of the game but most importantly in the confidence It gave me! BTW I never had an ace but did eagle the par 4 4th at CPGC from 100 yards out with you guessed it my trusted Titleist!
