  1. Hey! I’m currently looking for a 60 degree replacement. I’m from Michigan so the turf is a little on the softer side but I travel and play tournaments mostly in the south and Midwest so I do run into Bermuda a few times a year where you can get some dodgy grainy bermuda lies that you have to catch ball first. I’m looking for a 60 currently and want a vokey. I use it for full shots as well as around the green so the versatility has to be there. I am around 5-6 degrees down for attack angle. I have a history of playing higher bounce but they had a c grind so I could get under it easier. I’ve tried the D grind and although it was decent for full shots I couldn’t get under that thing at all and the bunker was worse. I currently use a TM sbc which works well but I would like a vokey if I can help it. I’ve always felt my distance control and flight were the best with them. I’ve been looking at the A+ and V grind. Any suggestions?

    In my thumbnail, I have a 60-14K (58*) and 60-04T. I also play a 58-12D bent to 56*.

Low bounce K is good for both soft and hard lies. Haven’t tried S grind at that loft but it does work at 54*.
  3. I think the M grind makes the most sense, the L could also since it actually has more bounce than stated at 4...also if you are a fan of the Vokey Wedgeworks Site, the V grind is perfect.

I live in Ohio and I prefer the T for less bounce, FWIW
  4. I hit full wedges and put them in the back of my stance as well. I expose more leading edge because of that. I’ve been so curious about the v. I just have nowhere to test it. No fitting days are coming up.

M grind tends to be the most versatile IMO, but your best option is going to get fit to find the right grind for your game.
  6. 08 M is great for the 60, I played a ton of college events in different states and this is the one I feel confident with no matter what grass/surface I’m using it on.
  7. Do you know your attack angle by any chance. My fear is that I may get a little stubby with 8 degrees of bounce.

So far the 62-08M is working out in “shootouts” vs my 60-04T and “Phil” 64/10. I keep the T and 64 for course conditions.

Can’t part with “Phil 64”. Had lie angle set to 66*

Set loft of 62-08M to 61.

Like others have said, M & S grinds are very versatile for full & flighted shots - middle of the road for bounce, and allow you to open/close the face. Currently play 60*M & 56*S.

K & T are the extremes, so you may have to create new/different shots for different lies/turf conditions.

    Good luck!
