Until/unless they start seeding them on tour, not much will be known until then. Not expecting much until PGA show in January or closer to a potential March release. Titleist generally sticks to the full 2 year product release cycle.

The 2023 PGA merchandise show will be in Orlando, FL 01/24/2023 - 01/26/2023, and that would seem like a good time to make an announcement, "IF THERE IS TO BE ONE". A lot of new lines are presented at that time. The SM9s are doing very well with a great selection of lofts and finishes. That decision is entirely up to Mr. Bob Vokey and his team. I think the only thing that would make Vokey wedges untouchable in the market space right now is wet wedge performance. You're seeing TM's tred design, png's hydropearl, cleveland hydrozip etc etc. Vokey's are noticeably weaker in that category and it's what Im hoping for in their next release bc other than that they dont need to change much.

I see the SM 9’s are down to 149.00 per club which tells me something is coming. Just ordered another one. Great deal at 149.00

I agree with what everyone is saying. I don't play much compared to some (25-50 9-hole rounds a season), and new wedges every 2-3 cycles seems to be best for me.

I got on the train with SM7s and loved them and have tried older models of Vokeys along the way and loved them as well. I went through the sand and lob wedges faster because of more frequent use (still using the pitching and gap wedges), so I got SM9 replacements. I can't speak for the SM8s, but I'm not a big fan of the SM9s. They vibrate differently and not in a good way. I don't know why (slightly different construction, maybe?), but I've read that others are having this experience as well. I also tried different grinds from the SM7s, and they don't seem to be right either, so that may be contributing.

This past season, I got a set of 2019 T300 irons, and the gaps are different from the other set, so the wedge lofts were no longer correct. 9-iron is 38, so I bent my 46 to 44 (which has been a great decision) and made do with 50, 54, and 58 through the end of the season.

I decided I couldn't wait until the next time I need all new wedges to get the correct lofts, so I actually went back to SM7s, and my old grinds, for 52, 56, and 60. One of the Play-It-Again Sports stores in town had a guy come in and dump a zillion nice wedges on them. Tons of good stuff going back to the red saw (now non-compliant) days still in good shape, and that dump included the exact SM7s I needed in still playable condition (the 60 is an SM6 with iffy grooves, but I really only use that much loft out of bunkers anyways). Looking forward to having the SM7 feel again. I'm hoping to find an SM7 48 to round it out and not have to bend my SM7 50 (although, I don't like hitting my 50, so maybe I should bend it and it'd be better like the 46 now is. :)

I only have the equivalent of about 20 18-hole rounds in my SM9 54 and 58, so we'll see what happens with them. I might just keep them in the closet until it's time to upgrade everything then trade them in as credit toward the new ones (SM11s??? idk).

My friend is working as a fitter and he has been invited to Titleist this week to see them. So i guess they will be on tour in a week or two. Sadly he is not allowed to say anything about them before the release in Jan/feb.

Can't wait to see the new designs. My SM9's are awesome and like other's have said, it's on sale now so it means the SM10's are coming out next month. Stay tuned

Planning to get fitted for new wedges. I guess I will weight a little to see what happens.

I've had the sm9's since February and my spin numbers are still great. I went away from Vokey wedges for a long time because I hated the SM4's and SM5's. Always thought there was way too much offset for my liking and didn't like the head shape. The SM9's have been the highest, most consistent performing wedge I have ever had. my spin numbers are great, the flight it easy to manipulate, distance control is great, etc. I'm genuinely curious to see how they can improve on this wedge. I'll be adding a 46 degree and replacing my set wedge soon.

PGA SS has dropped the price of the SM9, so my guess is January after the PGA Merch Show.

There was a picture of Billy Ho's wedges circulating on different social media sites today.

A large part of me is wondering if there is going to be a big overhaul on the groove design and excited to see as ill be going all in on this release. On the other hand they have been phenomenal with past wedges AS IS!
