  1. I play a lot of small town golf courses in North Dakota. We end up with a lot of hard burnt out lies/hard dirt even just off the green. What would be the best grind for this?

    1st.. Get fit!

But it sound like you'll need a low bounce wedge, but then, it depends on your angle of attack.... Are you a Sweeper or Digger... Hence, get fit!
  3. L and T come to mind however you do need to consider some other factors such as how you plan to use it...open face, bunkers, do you travel to softer courses, etc...

I play the T grind personally, the L grind actually is more like 6 degrees of bounce due to the sole. There is also a low bounce K grind on Vokey.com if you need a wider sole for soft sand or escape shots.

Play around with this, the only way to really know is to try them if possible!
  4. Same thing here in Saskatchewan. Played lots of golf in ND as well. Always carry a 64 for the types of courses we have here. It’s been my go to out of anything green side or hard pan. T grind. Can’t find anything conforming left handed to replace my 64 so I picked up a 60 t grind but it doesn’t perform anything like my old one.
If you aren’t interested in that much loft an M grind is fine too.
I have started playing less loft and using a square club face out of the lies you’re talking about. Keeps the spin but doesn’t give you any chance to blade or chunk it.
