    Good day all,

    I have had this backpack for a few years and I love it. It is a little dirty and I was wondering if I could put it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle. I believe it is mostly nylon. Any ideas?

    My guess is its sturdy enough to handle a washing machine in the gentle cycle. I would air dry it as opposed to putting it in a dryer. Give us an update if you decide to go this route.

    I would probably just wipe it down with a soapy rag then rinse it off outside and let dry in the sun.
    Would hate to ruin the zippers or the bag in the washer.

    Maybe try a good spray on fabric cleaner first?

    I think if you washed it on a cold gentle cycle and then let it air dry you should be good to go!

    I like a hot bucket of water and a scrub brush... And maybe a drop or two of Simple Green!

    Top rack of the dishwasher?

    I do that for my hats and let them air dry and they are nice and clean.
