Legit? Armlock Scotty Cameron Newport 2

    Hi TT,

    I have acquired a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Putter (see photos), which is an armlock. This putter was owned by an Titleist employee who is a fitter. Im more interested in the grip more than anything, does anyone have any information on this grip?

    I think this may have been a putter fitting grip, but keen to know more.

    Note: the head has been re-furbished.

    Beautiful putter. Grip looks very unique. Wish I could offer some information on it.

    The grip on that putter looks like the grip Scotty used to put on the longer Big Sur and/or Mid Sur putters back in the early 2000-2010(?) time frame. Don't quote me on those dates. The grip certainly looks like what originally came on that line of putters, similar stamping with red dancing Scotty Cameron letters running down the length of the grip. Can't definitively speak to authentic or not, however if you got the putter from a Titleist staffer the grip is likely authentic. As for the head, it looks like copper. I wouldn't be able to say if it has been refinished or not though. Nice looking putter and the grip looks to be in great shape too.
