Bronzing Putters

    Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for bronzing a putter. I think it can be torched to get the bronze look (more like gold to me honestly). Does scotty Cameron offer this service? I have a 2021 Special Select Blade putter that I would love to do it to but don't want any chances of ruining it by going third party.

    Hi Teedz, pretty sure Scotty CS won’t torch and they no longer offer oilcan finishes either even on legit original Oilcans.

    That said there are loads of brilliant custom finishing shops out there. Would start with BOS and see what finishes they do and see if you can get what you need. There are based in California too so shipping not too bad for you.

    BOS did a lot of finishing for Scotty Cameron back in the day and is first rate.

    I have a Scotty putter which has gold finish, but I can't use it on sunny days as it blinds me... Something you may want to consider when choosing gold for putter color. Considering putting a matt film over the top lines as I love the putter.
