    Just got mine (LH Newport 2) today from my club's pro shop, very clean looking!
    Taking it out for a test drive this afternoon.

    Super jealous, I waited a couple weeks to order my Newport 2 to see if any of the local shops got a LH Newport 2… they didn’t and I saved a couple bucks ordering the “regular” SS Newport 2

    I’ve managed to get one but I think Scotty really missed a trick by not putting a black shaft in it. Curious on people opinion on this…. Would me sticking a black shaft devalue the putter? Obviously I would prob need to sacrifice the sticker but hopefully keep the grip

    From a collectors standpoint, I think it would probably devalue it. However, from an appearance standpoint, I think it would look great.

    Thanks for your input. I’m gaming it anyways so guess it’s my personal preference, a black shaft would look great I think but equally I’m ok with the chrome. Just don’t want to completely devalue it if something a little more sexy comes out that would mean needing to move it on to free up some funds.

    I have been playing with the Newport and love the finish. I am considering installing a smoke shaft and black weights for the ultimate black-out appearance.
