Choosing the 'right' putter can be as complex and nerve-racking as choosing your spouse. When you find the 'right' one, you think it will be forever, however, things may change and everything is about trust. I don't know if I am talking about my relationship with my putter or my wife :)

Well, going back to the putter, have you tried different putting grips, lengths, etc. being righty or lefty is something that I have never considered, but I guess it cannot do you any wrong, Paul.

If I were you, I would get advice via golf lessons. As much as we would like to help, our relationships with our putters are quite 'sensitive' and personal.

There are definitely some Scotty southpaw, goofyfoot gems out there, just gotta save up and look hard. I have a few that I hold dear and am always looking.

I've actually been able to put equally (well? badly??) LH or RH. In part moving to LH clubs was a mid-life crisis. I've been disappointed that unlike png, SC does not offer at least more LH options. I've been putting RH recently but having some aim issues. Went for a fitting at my "local" Showcase Partner with the express objective to go back to LH. I have a Select Newport 2.5 LH but has too much toe hang and makes short putts far too challenging. We went through the SAM fitting and the Phantom X 7.5 is both LH and suitable. I've given up looking at all the RH options to see which are appealing to my eye. Just going with the high tech choice. Just need to see the line and put the ball in the hole.

Waiting for the Phantom 7.5. The back-up LH will be my original Macgregor Bobby Grace and RH is a Cameron and Crown mallet also with slight toe hang. Should the Phantom need time in the time-out corner.
