Remove paint on a Phantom X 5.5

    I am currently tinkering with the idea of removing the yellow filled paint on the phantom x 5.5 putter... will using acetone tarnish the black surface of the putter?

    I would be careful...just keep the acetone to the painted surface only....it should not affect it however one never knows!

    I would only send to the SC Custom Shop and have them redo a paint job...
