2020 Del Mar Head cover size

    Just ordered a new 2020 Del Mar putter and am wondering if the blade putter covers will fit or will it have to be the mid Mallet covers. Anybody know???

    I received my Del Mar two weeks ago and it is a terrific putter. The red Special Select cover that comes with it is a mid mallet size. (Like my GoLo3) The newport blade covers are a little too tight.

    I have the older California Del Mar and a GoLo3 and I have used blade covers for both of them without any real problem. Sure, a bit more snug that a Newport but seems to work okay for me.

    I too use blade covers on my Del Mar, from probably around the same era as Dale, 2014-16ish. Every blade cover I have fits it fine. I also use a blade cover on my 2004 Red X and it fits fine.

    My brother has a mallet style head similar to the Del Mar and can use a normal head over but doesn’t sit perfectly on it...it’ll work but would bother me so I’d personally go with a mid mallet
