More Cameron T22 Being Produced

    I have heard from a local golf shop that Scotty Cameron will be producing at least 50 more T22 putters for a particular golf conglomerate. And I would assume that is not the only company they are doing such things for. So the question is are there now more than 8000 T22 putters in circulation and if so how many more are going to be produced to further devalue this putter line? If Titleist originally says 8000 pieces produced and then makes 8000 isn’t that really unfair to the people who purchased under the guise of buying a limited edition product with fixed release quantity?

    I had not heard that information and it seems strange...there is not a lot of history of that happening from my experience. However, Titleist is now a public a company as the last couple of years and has new profit pressures on it from the public marketplace so it may be true and unfair however as the OP pointed out it will continue to devalue the putters if it continues.

    I don't think Titleist had ever released a number of T22 produced, only, that it was limited. I think we all assumed there would only be one production run, but, I have read elsewhere, that Titleist will make as many runs needed to meet demand. I bought in the first production run, while I am happy with the putter and didn't buy it as an investment, I think it is a BS move to keep producing more of these "limited" putters.

    I got an email from Golf Galaxy stating they had more in stock. They must not have had many because it seems they sold out already.

    I am trying to figure out which one to game. The Newport 2 vs the Fastback 1.5
    I gamed the Newport 2 during a round recently and I love the feel, but I still need some time with each one to look at the overall putts per round stats after a while. I have gotten alot of comments about the way it looks! But all I care about is its performance!

    With respect, did you mean Golo 5 vs Fastback 1.5? I am a player of the Newports and game two of the Select Notchbacks. One is a pretty chrome and the other is one of the first that came in black and is pretty worn out. I could care less what it looks like as long as it is result oriented. =)

    Well, it's true. I saw an email this morning about pre-ordering the T22.
