    Buy a Scotty Cameron.

    In actuality the best way to pick a putter is to go to a golf shop and try a few. Ordering online isn't bad, but sometimes the putters don't look or feel how you would expect, so it's best to see them in person before pulling the trigger.

    It helps if you can putt with the putter on a putting green nearby... IMHO

    Absolutely nothing beats getting to roll the ball on a green. Yes, there are some fitting aspects to pay attention to - length, stroke path, etc. But so much of putting is feel and confidence. Find a golf shop with some great options and start rolling some putts!

    And yes, Scotty Cameron is the place to start!

    I didn't know how good a fitting could be. I felt like the Futura-X was me. I struggled last season in the 4-6 foot range, pushing and pulling putts. My club has a fitting studio and it turns out I needed more toe flow and the Newport 2 supplied that. Confidence holding that stick is key and the right stick will improve that.
