heres the issue I'm looking a nice putter to game would I be mad to game such a putter ?

Personally, I would not put it in play. I think that it's value will go up over time if it is never put in play.

It is not a putter I would game since it is more of a wall hanger than a gamer....you can get almost the identical putter for a fraction of the cost just order a standard SC Newport 2.
Good Luck!

I agree with Barry, i wouldn't game it at all. Stash it away, the value will go up over time especially if Speith continues to dominate. It's like buying stock and holding onto it for a long term investment.
Congrats on getting that putter!

My 2 cents, you only live once. I don't buy stuff to save for the future I will use whatever I buy. Who knows it may hold some special spirits and might start playing like him. Just me though.

Ultimately to game it or not is up to you. When I buy a putter I buy it to use it. Some people are collectors.
I have a couple of putters in which some people would collect that I have put in play. I think some of the "collectors" putters are truly worth putting into play because the feel is that good. Other "collector" putters are worth collecting.
So really it does come up to what you want and what feels best to you!

I won a scotty inspired by Brad Faxon about 5 or 6 years ago. I use it all the time. If its about saving it getting the most money fro it then donut's it. If it's not about the money don't let it sit in a corner never giving it the opportunity to make a memorable putt for you.

i would gladly take it off your hands if you werent interested! :)
I'm leaning towards gaming iti think it would be nice to have something different than Otr putters . Which are great too ! Currently playing a 2014 Newport

If it is putter that you think you will play with then put it in the bag. Most of these putters are sold to collectors that do not use them. If the protective plastic is off either the grip or the head, the value is already on its way down.

I don't see why not. Jordan Spieth is actually spelt with an I before the E.
thanks everyone fro replying shes going into play this weekend

Glad to hear you're going to play it. Like Rick said if the plastic is off the head and grip, the value is already dropping. And really, it's a putter. The odds you will mess something up beyond repair are very slim. Down the road you can always get it refinished.
