Hi team, long time... I just came into possession of a scotty futura x5 38" counter balance putter. I havnt gamed it yet, but I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience converting one of these to a standard say 35"putter with a standard grip. Never been a huge fan of long putters. I might like it, but if I do cut off the weighted grip, would it be the same as say a stock 35" off the shelf. Or are the heads heavier on the counter balance models? Thanks for any info .
