To whom it may concern;
On Tuesday 26th of August, I recorded an Ace on hole 17. I'm a memeber of Fort belvoir in Alexandria VA.
I was playing Woodlawn which is known to be the harder of the two courses on Belvoir .
I arrived at the 17th hole 2 under par. The wind was slightly blowing left to right. I pulled my 4 iron and hit beautiful draw to an elevated green gaurded by two front bunkers. I knew I hit well but couldn't tell the ball was in the hole until we arrived at the green. It was an amazing experience knowing how hard the hole plays to get an ACE.
Hole in formation:
204 yards used a range firnd to pin it. The green is elevated with two large bunkers framing the front of the hole with very little landing area that slops downward.
