I started playing almost 2 years ago and am hooked!! I was a last minute entry into the Ladies stroke play competition on Sunday, the first hole was not good (out of bounds) and I considered a no return. But things improved & on the 5th I always take out an old ball from my bag as I have lost so many good balls in the water hazard - the sun was shinning & I just hit my 7 iron cleanly & it sailed over the water & dropped just left & front of the pin - I was so pleased with the shot I looked away until the 3 ladies in my 4-ball were shouting ITS GONE IN...I could not believe it, thought they were kidding - sooooo happy!! Thankfully the clubhouse was not too busy afterwards, but it was worth every ££ and I am still buzzing from the experience!! x
