I started playing golf when I was 11 or 12 years old. Had a great time playing high school golf and some other competitions in the Chicagoland area. I had the opportunity to play a few tournaments while in college at Creighton University. I have always played Titleist balls! I am passionate about the game, but have never had a hole in one until April 19th at Trophy Club (Whitworth Course) in the Dallas area. On a cool, breezy morning we came to the 3rd hole, playing 137 yards with a little wind into us and off the right. The pin was left in a spot you don't go at. I hit a little knock down 8 iron with a touch of draw that started just a little left of my intended line. My Titleist AVX hit about 6-8 feet right of the pin, took one hop, checked and then rolled in the last few inches. It only took me (almost) 50 years, but well worth the wait! Thanks, Titleist!!
