Had 153 yards to a pretty favorable pin position. Slight left of center pin, middle of the green. I play a fade, and there was plenty of room around this pin not to worry about how to were to attack it. This was in the afternoon, and shadows were on the green covering the pin. I flush my 9 iron, a perfect 150 yard club. My baby fade is heading right at the pin, my uncle shouts "GO IN!" as most golfers say when the ball is heading directly at the pin. We hear the ball hit the green, but with shadows over the hole we couldnt see it. Im confused, wondering if I hit it long somehow. My uncle jumps in the cart and takes off towards the green to go check the hole. Anticipation is rising as my body is shaking. Could it really be?! Is this actually happening?! My uncle gets up to the green and sprints over to the hole. PLEASE BE IN THE HOLE!!! That is all that is going through my mind. He gets over the hole, looks down, turns to us on the teebox and THROWS HIS HANDS INTO THE AIR. I cant believe it! We all go crazy on the teebox. Jumping around and celebrating. This was my first hole in one, and nobody else in the group has one or has seen one in person. It was a great day and moment. After the round we headed into the clubhouse and as you can imagine, the celebration was incredible.
