My wife, myself and another couple were playing golf at Largo Golf Course, Largo, FL. The par 3 third hole (95 yds) had a sand bunker in front of it and on both sides. My objective was to clear the bunker and avoid the other traps. I used a pitching wedge in hopes of clearing sand trap and still keep the ball on the green. I struck the ball lofting it towards the hole. The ball cleared the sand trap, disappeared behind the lip of the bunker. Satisfied I had made the green safely I turned to put my club away. After taking two step, I heard my wife yell the ball may go in the hole. I looked to see the ball slowly rolling towards the hole, but still thinking it would stop short or go wide, I continued to my cart. Two more steps and I heard my wife and friends yell "It went in the hole". I looked up to see I could no longer see the ball.
