  1. First and probably the last one ever. Happened at Riverside course in Edmonton on September 11th 2023 on hole 9. Hit a great utility club on my second shot and when at the green could not find the ball. One of my buddies decided to look in the hole and to our surprise he saw my yellow Titleist. Pretty exciting moment..

Albatross, more commonly know as a double eagle is the rarest shot in golf, much rarer than a hole-in-one. Three under par on a par 5. Congratulations of such a great shot. A shot that is made by less than 10% of golfers. What are the odds? WOD (Way out dare).

The chances of spotting an albatross vary between six million to one and one million to one, depending on the data source. According to the National Hole-in-One Registry, the odds of a hole-in-one for the ordinary golfer are 12,500 to 1.

Love the double eagle trophy. Well deserved. KUDOS.
