It was my 50th Class Reunion Golf Outing at Highland Springs Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois. My team was next to last to tee off. Since I live in Tallahassee, FL, i had to borrow my brothers Jack Nicklaus golf clubs (steel shaft) to use. As we approached hole #8 tee box, I pulled out a Titleist 2 golf ball and teed it up to hit approximately 159 yards to the hole. I used a seven iron and shot first. We watched the ball arch upward to the left of the green, over a raised sand trap and could not see where it landed, but witnessed the ball darting to the right onto the green and into the hole. It was my first hole in one and for sure and magical, since I was playing with my High School friends and the next day (Sept. 23rd) was my 68th birthday. When I play in the hometown of Tallahassee, FL I usually only use Titleist or Wilson staff golf balls.

Lewis, I love it when I see our experienced golfers still hitting those HOI's. A great birthday eve present. Hoping they brought the beverages to celebrate both for you. Just remember some go a lifetime and never have one. Happy 50th reunion. We are doing our 60th next year. Are numbers are decreasing and we only had a foursome show up last time. We do the best we can. No holes in one, but I did sponsor the event. A big congratulations. Love to see our younger seniors doing well. Just turned 77 on the 10th. ha...ha..ha.. Maybe you need to put away those other balls and play Titleist all the time........ =) Being you made it with a Titleist, did you register it and sign up for a free bag tag from Titleist. Please do so, if not, you bragging rights and badge of honor. You earned it.
