About 15 months ago I decided to buy a new set of Titleist T300 Irons after not being on the course for about 15 years. On the 23rd of September 2023 I started my round with a birdie from a 40 foot putt and thought what a great way to start a round. I then had the honour on the second, with a slight head wind, I pulled the 8 iron from the bag, stood on the T box and gave it everything, unfortunately, whilst I could see the flag, the cup was out of sight, but it looked somewhere near. With fingers crossed, I approached the green, no ball in sight, so I thought it must have gone over the back. Until I looked inside the cup. You little beauty, there she was, smiling back at me from the bottom!!! My first ever ‘hole in one’. Hopefully there’s more to come, although I could do without the bar bill in the clubhouse again!!
