On June 30, 2021, our usual foursome was scheduled to play at Victoria Park East Golf Club (Guelph, Ont). Unfortunately, Calum was unable to play. Fortunately, our grandchildren, Caden and Emma, were visiting us for a few days and Caden said he’s love to play. On the 6th hole, I hit my 9-iron about 5 feet past the pin and the backspin backed it down the slope and into the cup for the first ACE of my life. It was a huge thrill for Caden and me, along with our playing partners, Ed and Brian. That’s a shot I’ll remember forever. Cheers
