I just started playing from the senior tees this year on some of the courses I play and depending on who I play with. Some of the younger guys I play with pound the ball 60 yards past me on their drives. Playing from the senior tees levels the playing field. So yesterday, I was on the fifth hole and I scoped the pin to be 142 yards, I decided to use my 7 iron instead of my 8, boy I am glad I did. I took a nice controlled swing, watched the flight of the ball and did not think it was going to get to the green. It hit just on and left of the pin. The greens were firm all day. I watched the ball from a distance and the other guys in the foursome, with better vision than my old eyes said it going to go in. Well, it did. It was a great feeling. I hope I get a couple more in my life time.
