I was playing with a group of 24 guys on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at The Legends Course at Shanty Creek in Bellaire, Michigan. This group of guys has been playing for 25 consecutive years at courses all around Northern Michigan. It was on the 4th hole that I had my first hole in one. It was playing 135 yards and I used a 9 iron, and a Titleist ProV1 golf ball. It was an elevated green so I did not get to see it go into the hole. Two of the guys in the group made it to the green before me and discovered my ball in the hole. I have been playing golf for 35 years and this was my first ace!!! Very exciting.
