I have walking cart and a cart bag. I have too much stuff ( water, granola bars and other stuff) . A lot o the "stuff" is because I have some health issues I need to be aware of.

Never been a fan of the 14 way bags. I know a place for everything and everything in its place, but I've found the clubs tend to bag off each other more as they don't get to settle in and rest against each other. That being said I'd opt for the deluxe cart bag. I use the Mid-Staff bag on the Clickgear. I used the Mid-Staff on that until I got a remote electric one I use now. Wouldn't want to have to carry either of them unless I was getting $1000/week and 10%.

Personally I prefer to carry as long as I have no health issues and like to keep it simple with little gear other than clubs, golf towel, balls and tees and after having several 6 way bags I bought a 4 way top bag and it has been the best bag for me- four openings plenty for club organization and a lot less club jamming than 6 way.

Lighter the better for me. Currently carrying using he Players 4 bag. I also have a Stadry 4up I use if raining (which never happens in San Diego so I use it for annual trip to Bandon Dunes). I prefer a shoulder bag especially on hilly courses.

My first bag upgrade was a 14 divider Sun Mountain cart bag on a Sun Mountain 4 wheeler. Between hilly courses and carting the cart, I've moved onto 4 divider bags and walk where the course allows it. Have a mini-tour bag when I know I have to ride. I struggle with a minor case of OCD trying to arrange 14 clubs in 4 slots. The 2 shoulder straps make it easy to carry. I'm 67 but I have to ride when I play with my 20-something co-workers that won't walk.

I suggest that you take a serious look at the Players 5 Stand Bag. It may offer you the best choice in one bag for carrying, pushing, and riding.

Staff Stand Bag is a great option for carts/clicgear/walking.
It is light enough to easily carry and can hold plenty of items when needed.

I've also got a Players 5 Sta dry carry bag and it is very good. I sometimes attach it to my trolley and it fits really well. No complaints at all. I would really recommend it.

Hi - you appear to have the problem i used to have.

Play off 6 and always carried gear. But in doing so I found there are a few things that help -
All irons are protected from clattering with Neoprene covers - there are many types on the market - forget the zip ones - will drive you crazy.
Secondly there are so many good stand bags on the market - all having this and that - but when carrying the biggest factor is the Strapping Harness / the weight of the bag - how well it sits / materials used and how well made - it is built to last.

I have tested quite a few - Purchased a few i liked only to return a day later as could see issues that these bags would have - for me the two best ones are the Titleist Tour Stand Bag - really good - But the best of all bags seen / used / tested is the srxn Z Tour stand bag - Wow just so good - stand bag currently using.

A really good stand bag will load on any Push trolley - as still light and you can load more gear etc. But push / pull trolleys are OK but they too have their faults.

That comes to the next step - if you go the Battery powered route ( Always said i would never use a Battery trolley - then won one ) - this can afford you a bigger Bag ( or use Stand Bag ) - although personally I like carrying - but this is such a dream - and takes nothing out of you at end of every round.

Carts Bags are a mare - so many of them are about face - meaning the carry strap is at the wrong end ( to accommodate trolley struts ) but in time this too will drive you crazy.

Now Titleist have the Mid Sized Staff Cart Bag - that is the best in its class by a country mile - the perfect bag in every way - never looked back when purchased this bag. If there is a fault it just looks too good - and your opponents will know there are in for a rough day ha ha.
