I just ordered a 714 AP2 #6 iron from Golf Town. Had gone to 2 demo days and knew what I wanted ... XP 95 shaft 1" long S300, with standard lie. However, though I took the Tour Wrap 2G grip (standard sz), it was not my preference.

I grew up in the 60s and was spoiled with leather grips and continued to play them on my irons into the 70s and 80s. Then life with wife and kids happened - clubs put aside for 20+ years.

I'm now 57 and back into golf.

I am going to put a GripMaster grip on the 6 iron. But it's such a waste to just remove the Tour Wrap 2G grips.

Is there a way that Titleist can accomodate me? Can I order the leather grip and have titleist install the grip and give me credit for the grip I didn't get. Or can I order the club sans grip and then have Golf Town install a leather grip for me?
