Hey everyone. I've played the AVX since it first came out and have always appreciated the blend of low spin and great feel.

In the last couple weeks I just finished through my inventory of prior generation (2022) AVX and started to play the 2024 version. They feel very much the same coming off the club face and distances seem very similar. Big change to me is the spin coming off lower irons. Rather than "drop and stop' like the prior version, I find myself spinning these back on greens more. I'm not used to.playing for this, so it's definitely taking some getting used to.

    Anyone else have similar experience?

They definitely have more short game spin than the previous generation. I am seeing the same, especially in combination with my new SM10 wedges. I do love that aspect of the ball, so I guess I am just trying to adjust to playing the shots different.

Yes, they changed them and there are even bigger differences among the last ten years of ProV1 and ProV1x standard issues.

Try the balls every year or do a ball fitting, I just did the Professional Titleist Ball fitting and cannot recommend it enough. ( -ProV1x surprise winner for me)
