Anyone else hit the new x's and think they are hard as concrete? Just played 27 holes with them and I must say they are more durable 3 others in my group from plus to single digit handicap golfers all had the same input. Just curious.

I thought the same, last Wednesday I was fitted by Titleist (ball fitting). They showed me the trackman, said I hit them better and farther over the ProV1. Gave them 18 holes still feel the same but I do hit them better.
  3. Hard and durable? Just curious if you liked or didn't like them, based on your description? I would think durable would be good, but hard may be too much of a negative.

    Enjoy!

It's all relative, I have hit harder ones but side by side that's how they felt.

I had only tried the new x's in the test sample last fall, in 70 degree weather. They seemed fine.

Hey Monte! I've played three rounds with the new Pro V1x -- and I would say that the ball has a very similar feeling to previous generations in terms of how it feels off of the driver. My experience has also been that the cover is more durable than previous models as well. I have managed to play all three rounds with the same ball and it has stood up very well for a premium golf ball. I can wait until my local golf retailers start stocking them so I can load up on them!

I just can't believe that a ProV1x is hard as concrete.

I feel they are the same in "hardness/softness" compare to 2015x.
