    Hey guys!

I played this afternoon after work and grabbed the same ProV1 I've been playing with for awhile now. I started thinking this was going to be my 5th full round with this ball! It's held up very well considering it has 5 full rounds on it. To be fair I've been playing some pretty good golf lately and have been getting into much trouble. (My home course is tree lined on every hole) For tournament rounds or rounds I have something on the line I'll crack a new sleeve but if I'm just playing for fun I'll generally keep the same ball in play till I lose it or it's really beat up so TT how many rounds do you have on a single ball?

Just over 6....I met my brother at a course half way between our homes (He's in Iowa, I'm in Missouri) and we had finished playing 18, but wanted to go out for 9 more before heading home. The third hole was a 290 yard par 4 dog leg over a pond. I hit my 21* hybrid off the tee which would leave me approximately 80 or 90 for my approach. Unfortunately, I pulled my tee shot a little, hit an area of hard pan and watched my ball one-hop into the pond. So long ball, it was nice knowing you!

If I don't hit a cart path, probably can go a couple of weeks which is about six rounds (Prov1). Normally do not loose golf balls. When they wear out normally hit them on to the range, which is not really a good idea.

For me, the longest is 5 rounds ... but to qualify that, I have not used the ball exclusively for 5 rounds but rather I used it extensively for 2 rounds, then have used it intermittently for the remaining 3 rounds.

I will be removing it from my rotation of golf balls shortly.

I quite like having a fresh ball on the first tee and I have recently (last 12 mos.) have gotten into the habit of using a fresh ball on the par 3's ... with the notion that it will bring me good luck with an "Ace - Hole in One" ...thereby having a fresh new ball for the resulting photo op! :-).

I think the longest I've played with a ball was close to four rounds.

Dino, I'm still hunting for that ace after 16 years of play. Done everything but have it come to rest at the bottom of the cup; but you can bet your bottom dollar it'll be a Pro V1 when I finally get one to find the cup from the tee box! :)

Wow, are you guys all that good, or is it just easier to lose a ball where I play? My course is rated a 73.2 with a slope of 138. You could be just off the fairway and lose your ball.

I'm stoked if my ball lasts one full round and that doesn't happen often. Especially on the two 240 yard par threes with tight sloping greens and oob all over...

BA -- your right! The course that you're playing is probably more punishing for wayward shots --even if they stray just a little from the fairway! My home course is a bit more forgiving than that ...the fairways are pretty wide and the first cut of rough is not that long nor that deep. Stray further though, then you could be into thicker bush, etc.

unfortunately in Yellowknife on our sand fairway course, i might get a round or a 1.5 rounds from a prov1... the sand beats the hell out of them unfortunately and they end up in my shag bag

Three rounds. Errant drives on forested courses are not a good combo for me

One ball per month or eight rounds before I will retire a V1x - it depends on how many shots you take per round
