  1. How do I get over a mental Block on ProV golf balls? I hit any other ball just fine from tour level to basic practice balls but as soon as the ball says ProV on it it's like I forget how to play. Put down an NXT and boom it's all back. How do you get past a mental blocke

Instead of focusing on the type of ball I'm playing, I focus on the shot. I also don't worry about loosing balls, which helps me to relax and hit good shots. I know both of these items sound simple, but they work for me.
  3. It's all mental. Get a sleeve of nxt and prov1, and line out with a sharpie where it says nxt and prov1. Mix them in your bag and pick one at random. Don't think about it, and tee up.
  4. I think that's my problem is I worry about losing it too much

ProV1 and ProV1X are the best performing golf balls for all players at every level, from high handicappers to tour professionals. Play the ProV1 for every shot in every condition day after day. Now, with that said, you will need to play through this mental block you have. Hopefully after a few rounds, the ball will prove itself to you as the best for your game. It would be easy for me to say"get over it". But I know what a mental game we play. So, continue to play the ProV1 and you will get through this.

It's quite simple , If they give you that big of an issue don't use them. There are plenty of different Titleists to choose from.
  7. It seems to be worst on tee shots. I love the play of prov I feel it's just very mental. I usually color code my balls by sharpie so I know which is which so maybe I'll quit doing that and color out the alignment logo

If you're scoring well with the NXT ball I'd continue playing it. If you want the softer feel use the "S" model. I used to use both then one day decided I wasn't using the nxt tour S enough to keep the 18 balls I had around so I gave them to a guy I play against. I play the V1 all the time and never give losing it a thought or what my score is based on the ball.

Yeah, I understand... Great balls like the ProV's aren't cheap. To get used to them, you should get some used or logo overruns to spend a little less on them and therefore caree less about them. Then, once you are comfortable and see what they do for your game when you aren't afraid to lose them, buy new. When I get into a rut of losing balls, I do that to change it up.
