    Tested NXT Tour S earlier this year and I have now converted from using Pro V to the NXT Tour S. It seems that I get more distance without loosing feel on and around the greens. Key point is that I'm 68 years old and my swing speed, sadly, is not what it use to be.

    Nxt Tour S is a great ball. I use them along with my Pro V1's. I like it for the same reasons you mentioned Royce and in cooler temperatures.

    i agree, the NXT S is a fantastic ball. it does give me a little more distance off the tee and a nice feel on the short chips

    I switched balls last summer from the Pro V1x to the NXT S for 2 reasons, feel and cost. NXT S gave me good distance, but just OK spin.

    For Father's Day I received some gift cards, promptly went the next day and bought a dz. Pro V1s. Boy, the feel with all clubs and the short game spin is just fantastic. I'm and old guy also with a slower swing speed but the short game spin and control is much better then the NXT S.

    I like both balls and will carry both in my bag. For courses that have harder summer baked greens I'll use the V1. Then for courses that are softer I'll use the NXT S.
