Is it possible to tell me what the differenes are and how they affect the play of them?
The 2010 Titleist DT SoLo has some similarities and some differences compared to the prior generation Titleist DT SoLo. Like all prior generation Titleist DT models of the recent past, the 2010 Titleist DT SoLo golf balls delivers quality and performance at a value. But it has been over FIVE years since the introduction of last Titleist DT SoLo, and there have been two additional Titleist DT models since (2008 Titleist DT Carry and 2008 Titleist DT Roll). Combining the key successes of all three prior generation of Titleist DT models, several changes have resulted in the new 2010 DT SoLo being better than ever.
First, the 2010 Titleist DT SoLo golf ball features a large 1.585 inch core compared to the 2005 Titleist DT SoLo golf ball having a 1.550 inch core. This large core delivers fast ball speed for long distance, yet retains the soft feel desired by so many golfers. Second, the new 2010 Titleist DT SoLo has a soft, responsive, cut proof ionomer cover. This cover blend builds off of the successes of all three prior generation Titleist DT models. With the overall core and cover changes, the new 2010 Titleist DT SoLo golf ball delivers good short game control on those most important shots to the green. Thirdly, the 2010 Titleist DT SoLo features a Staggered Wave Parting Line in a 392 dimple, Icosahedron pattern. This Tour proven, aerodynamic package delivers consistent ball flight and maximizes distance for the golfer. Finally, the new 2010 Titleist DT SoLo has the Alignment Integrated Sidestamp, helping alignment both on the tee and on the green.
Thanks for the question,

LOVE the DT So-Lo's but the videos states the new one will be the softest ever, around a 70 compression? wasn't the old one an 80?? if yes, any chance on offering with both an 80 & a 70 compression??
