As my irons and wedges are beginning to age and their grooves deteriorate I am finding i need to gain more spin to keep my approach shots on the green, is there a titleist golf ball that will give me more spin than a pro v 1?- Thanks

I am not sure that you will find a ball in the Titleist family that will spin more than the Pro V1. I think that your best course of action may be to look at getting new wedges and irons.

Andrew - thanks for your question. First you might want to read this article about golf balls and grooves that will better illustrate the answer to your question: http://www.titleist.com/news/newsdetail.asp?id=755&category=technology
The other Team Titleist members are right. You are likely going to produce the most spin from a Pro V1 and if you still are not achieving enough spin, perhaps you should look into upgrading that old equipment!
Thanks for participating.

I work at a golf shop. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't have a dozen people or so ask me if we have 2007 Pro V1's. Every single one of them say the same thing...that they spin better/better greenside control, etc., than the new Pro V1's. If you can, try out the "old" Pro V1 models. Perhaps that's what you're looking for! Wish you the best of luck!

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT IT ISN'T YOUR CLUBS OR THE BALL.
YOU ALSO ARE AGING AND AT SOME POINT YOUR SWING WILL SLOW DOWN AND YOU WILL BEGIN TO LOSE SPIN OFF THE BALL. IT HAPPENED TO ME. I THINK PRO V1 SPINS BETTER THAN ANY BALL.

no but you can buy groove sharpeners that sharpen your grooves so you do not have to buy new wedges and irons.
and no there are no balls that spin more than the pro v1
