I am also a Pro V1x person. As much as I love to check out the latest and 'greatest' in technology, I always return to my trusty Pro V1x. It is a ball that works well for me regardless of the club in my hand.

I work at a golf course part time. I cut fairways, and intermediates. During a season I find alot of golf balls. I only one I play, Titleist! I have hundreds of golfballs. Every brand you can think of, from the latest gimmick, to the old standbys re- invented. I give most away, but not my Titleist. From the click at impact to the spin and the distance control, you cant find a better ball, literally!
Keep um coming boys!

PROV1X is the only ball I game. Like said above, the feel from Driver to Green is unmatched.

Pro V1 for me. I love the feel off the putter and around the greens!

+1 for the Pro V1 x.

I Carded my first ever Eagle yesterday. It happened at the 431yard, par 4, 18th hole, at Rackham Golf Course, Huntington Woods, Michigan.I hit a monster drive just a few feet off the left of the fairway. I then hit another monster 3-wood shot to the green, which is elevated, sloped drastically from back to front and fronted by a large bunker. My shot cleared the bunker and we saw it travel up the green, but couldn't see where it ended up. After looking for my ball for several minutes, ( no on could figure out where it went ), my cart partner checked the hole and lo and behold there, facing up from the hole, was "Titleist #1".I have been using the Titleist ProV-1 ball for the last few years and I always swear by it. Other friends of mine have come over to the ProV-1 because they discovered what I've been telling them, that the ball has such a great feel that I can actually tell it compresses when coming off my driver. And I don't mind paying a little extra for the great performance. One thing I know for sure is that if my game stinks, ( which it does most of the time ), the ball is not the problem.

I am a 20 handicap and have tryed both but if i slice i will hit the pro v1 out of bounds but draw the x in and also for the pro v1xs spin

I am going to buck the trend here... having played most everything, I keep coming back to the NXT. Best perfromance, distance and spin combination for me (8HC, senior-ish player, muni greens. ) I get distance, check and workability at a great price.

Pro V1x ONLY!

I have become a serious ProV1 or X snob. I love both balls and will play whichever I can get my hands on. I just cant find another golf ball that plays like those two. When in the rough and looking for a wayward shot of mine I used to pick up everything and keep them for play. Now I just let them sit unless they are Prov V's.

Same here. 20+ handicapper & I play with a Pro V1x because it helps me reduce my spin.

I play the Pro V1 because it boosts my spin...I have naturally shallow swing so I use the Pro V1 to up the notch....With my forged 6-iron 120 gr. KBS Tour shaft...I swing 95mph, 127 mph ball speed, 195 carry, but only 4500 rpms spin with new 2010 conforming grooves wen hitting practice balls... The Pro V1 just help me get that spin to about 5500 rpm.. not enough to suck it back but enough to hold the green..

Titleist Pro V1x because it´s the best for me, low spin on the driver and perfect spin on the wedge shot. For me the Pro V1 produces to much spin on the wedge shots.

I love the Titleist NXT Tour balls, but recently, I've been trying the optic yellow Pinnacle Precisions balls and I'm impressed. With my poor eyesight, I loved the optic yellow balls when they were popular a number of years ago. I wish Titleist still made a better ball in color, but for now, the Pinnacle does fine.
i have seen some dt solos in yelow if that helps

I would love to find them then. Now I know what I'm doing tonight instead of watching useless coverage of the PGA even before the tournament starts. I'll be digging through the internet looking for yellow Titleists...
Boy, don't you wish your life was as exciting as mine?
Thanks,
Dennis
I wonder if those were some old models... I can't find an optic yellow version of the Solo listed in the websites of any online dealers. Do you remember where you saw them?
iv only seen a few at my club i did not see any other models in yellow

V1x. Have a high swing speed and hit the ball high, so I don't need all the spin the V1 offers.

I switch between the ProV1 and ProV1x depending on the course I am playing and the Conditions.
Josh PSaratoga, CA
I use the Pro V1 just because the feel of the core off of the wedges is like no other ball on the market. And you need to be comfortable with your short game to be able to go low.
Thomas FBaltimore, MD
Pro V1X for me.
I used reg Pro V1 before the X but X is better for my game.
Connor CEssex, VT
I prefer to play the ProV1X golf ball because of the reduced spin off of the driver and fairway woods. I like the feel i get with the ball around the green. I really like the balance between distance and spin with the ProV1X.
Lefty MJBirmingham, AL
ProVx b/c of performance around greens..but, it also helps me with my driver and accuracy.
Matt DLos Angeles, CA
For the high swing speed and spin player there is nothing that compares to the feeling of hitting the perfect drive with the ProV1X.
