I don't get those results with an e5, I get better full swing stopping power with an e5 over NXT but my short game stroke the NXT whoops it. I've never seen anything stop like the ProV1 with full swing.

Looks like Old Silo is right in the middle, hang around and next season we can get together for a round.

I don't know about the Bridgestone balls all that much. Did try them once and never went back as, for my game, ProV1x outshined  the e5. And I use the NXT Tour when the weather gets cold. I guess that I am a  Titleist man and will be for a long time as I can't find another ball that performs for me like the Titleist balls.

The NXT will not stop quicker than an e5 on finesse or partial shots around the green. The e5 has a urethane cover, the NXT does not. Advantage: e5.

Hate to bust your bubble, but the current NXT will 1 hop and stop with my short game stroke(low spinner), e5 will not, the new ProV1 will not(old ProV1 would).

The new ProV1 and e5 will stop quicker with a standard pitch(ProV1 stops very fast), but for a standard pitch I want the ball to roll out, and the current NXT rolls out just right.

On full swing e5 will stop faster than NXT, but not that big of a difference, new ProV1 will dance.

Wilson C:25, also a ionomer cover, stops with a low spinner.........and of course there are ionomer covered balls that do not stop.
