I have a 910 d2 driver 9.5 loft at c3 so its at 8.75 hit the ball at a nice trajectory but get max 3 feet of roll. my ball carries 240 - 250 on a good hit. i play the pro v1x and a penta. Anybody  know an answer . I live in the northeast so its always a little wet but even on sunny days i dont get roll?

You should play a little bit harder of a ball with a harder core but still a pretty soft cover so you can still have some control around the greens.

Most likely you are not staying behind the ball at impact which means you are not hitting up.  Many people hit a driver like the irons and slide forward creating a downward strike instead of upward strike.  Best thing to do is take a video from the side and make sure you are not drifting forward as you are rotating.

  4. Hi Kevin If you are right handed the C3 setting adds 0.75 degrees of loft and makes the club lie 0.75 degrees more upright. I would check the settings and maybe try it on either D1 or C2 depending on if you need it more upright. A word of caution though that this alao results in the clubface being open 1.5 degrees!

Hey kevin, I believe this is due to the fact that club makers focus more on carry and not roll, and then you add in course conditions of public courses, some of us do not play on tour conditioned courses that are set up to give max run out unless you are playing in drought conditions, LOL, I am a member at a private country club and it is set up to give max roll out, ie. short cut fairways and a very nice base, huge difference then your average public course, I once marshalled at Firestone country club on the #9 tee box and TW hit a nice drive down the middle, I asked the shotlink guy at the tee box how far he had hit it and he said 296 yds and the TV said he hit it 370 yds. that was 74 yds. of roll, That is almost impossible on a public track unless you hit a cart path or drought conditions. just my thought
