June, one of our favorite months of the year at Titleist, is finally here. Golf season is in full gear, the U.S Open is right around the corner and – drum roll, please -- it's time to announce the Grand Prize winners of our recent Team Titleist Major Contest - Jeremy Schmidt and his brother, Dustin.

The Schmidt boys, who are now roommates in San Diego, grew up in Wisconsin, next door to a local driving range where they got their start in golf by shagging stray golf balls for the facility's owner, a golf pro and local legend named Mopsy.

Jeremy and Dustin would hunt for balls in the surrounding woods and then hit them back onto the range for Mopsy. In return, Mopsy taught them about the game, let them hit balls from sunup to sundown and even gave the boys their first clubs.

Those early memories and their shared connection to the game has strengthened the bond between the brothers and laid the foundation for an inspiring family story.

Thanks to Jeremy's powerful submission, the brothers will be packing their bags and flying east to join us here in Fairhaven, Mass., for an unforgettable Titleist adventure, featuring a visit to Titleist Headquarters, followed by a VIP tour of Ball Plant III, where the guys will witness the making of Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls, from core to cover.

And to cap off the visit, Jeremy and Dustin will receive the Tour Fitting Experience at our Manchester Lane Test Facility, where our expert fitters will work with them one-on-one to dial in a complete set of the latest high performance Titleist equipment to ensure they are dialed-in for the rest of the season.

We’ll be tagging along throughout Jeremy and Dustin’s visit, capturing highlights of the day and sharing their experience with Team Titleist in the coming weeks. So stay tuned!
