It was a banner week for Titleist around the globe as Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists combined for six titles across the worldwide professional tours.
Leading the way, Titleist Brand Ambassador Jordan Spieth captured the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am trusting the New Pro V1x golf ball, 716 AP2 irons and a full bag of Titleist equipment. The win, the ninth PGA Tour title of Spieth's career, marks his fourth consecutive top-10 performance in four starts on Tour this season.
The winning ways also continued on the European Tour, where Titleist golf ball loyalist Fabrizio Zanotti, relied upon the New Pro V1 golf ball in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to capture his second career victory at the Maybank Championship. Zanotti's win marks the fifth win for Titleist golf ball players in the young European Tour season.
Two players celebrated their maiden victories on their respective tours this week, one relying on the New Pro V1 golf ball and the other on the New Pro V1x. On the Web.com Tour, Titleist Brand Ambassador Ethan Tracy trusted the New Pro V1x golf ball, 917 metals and a full bag of Titleist equipment to capture the Club Colombia Championship in a dramatic playoff.
In South Africa, Titleist golf ball loyalist Erik van Rooyen (New Pro V1) birdied the first hole of an all-Titleist golf ball, three-way, sudden death playoff to secure his first Sunshine Tour title at the Eye of Africa PGA Championship.
Rounding out this week's action, Titleist golf ball loyalist Scott McCarron (Pro V1) topped the leaderboard at the Allianz Championship, firing a closing round 5-under-par 67 that was highlighted by two eagles.
And in Australia, Titleist Brand Ambassador Dimi Papadatos relied on the New Pro V1x golf ball and a full bag of Titleist equipment to capture his second Australasian Tour crown at The Victorian Open Championship.

Fabrizio Zanotti (Winner): New Titleist Pro V1 golf ball
Titleist golf ball loyalist Fabrizio Zanotti, relying upon the New Pro V1 golf ball, captured the Maybank Championship by one shot with a dramatic eagle on the final hole.
It marked Zanotti’s second career European Tour crown, and his first in three years.
Zanotti, who entered the final round six shots behind the overnight leader, closed with a 9-under-par 63 en route to a 19-under-par 269 victory total.
“I think it was probably the best round of my career,” Zanetti said after the win. “This is a huge one for me because of the work I have been doing, because of shooting 9-under and because of the putt at the last, knowing that if I holed that one I would have a pretty good chance of winning. It was a really good day, a really good week and I’m really happy.”
Titleist Brand Ambassador Bernd Wiesberger (New Pro V1) closed with a 6-under-par 66 to finish solo 3rd, two shots behind Zanotti, while Titleist golf ball loyalist Alexander Levy (Pro V1x) fired four consecutive rounds in the 60’s to finish solo 4th, another shot back.
The champion carded three birdies from the 13th through 17th holes to get into contention, before seizing the lead with his 12-foot putt for eagle on the final hole.

Titleist was the overwhelming field favorite in golf balls at the Maybank Championship with 114 players in the field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x for their success, more than five times the nearest competitor with 20.
Zanotti’s win was the fifth by Titleist golf ball loyalists through the first eight events of the European Tour’s 2016-17 season.
He follows Jeung-hun Wang (Pro V1x), Tommy Fleetwood (New Pro V1x), Graeme Storm (New Pro V1x) and Brandon Stone (New Pro V1) into the Titleist winners’ circle on the European Tour.

Scott McCarron (Winner): Titleist Pro V1 golf ball
On the PGA Tour Champions, Titleist golf ball loyalist Scott McCarron (Pro V1) made two eagles in the final round of the Allinaz Championship en route to a closing 5-under-par 67 and 17-under-par 199 victory total.
“All wins are exciting,” said McCarron, “but this one, to be able to finish it off the way I did, is really something special. It was a very good day.”
McCarron finished one shot clear of Titleist golf ball loyalists Carlos Franco and Kenny Perry, both of whom relied upon the New Pro V1 for their success.
In fact, McCarron topped a leaderboard on which each of the top five finishers trusted a Titleist golf ball.

It was an all-New Pro V1x playoff at the Club Colombia Championship where Titleist Brand Ambassador Ethan Tracy topped Titleist golf ball loylaist Roberto Diaz with a dramatic birdie on the second extra hole.
Both players were gridlocked at 13-under-par 271 after Tracy laid up with a 7-iron on the 72nd hole and was left with 101 yards for his third. The 27-year-old dunked a wedge for an eagle three to tie Diaz for the lead and earn a spot in the playoff.
Tracy, the only player to shoot four consecutive rounds in the 60’s, closed with a 6-under-par 65, while Diaz fired a final round 7-under-par 64.
After the pair tied the first extra hole with par, Tracy rolled in a 20-footer for birdie on the second to earn his first Web.com Tour title.
“I was just grateful to be in the playoff,” Tracy said after the victory. “Somehow I made a great shot, and I was fortunate that it went in. I capitalized on a good shot in the playoff with a great putt. Overall, the 18th was pretty good to me.”
Tracy was playing the New Pro V1x in competition for the first time.
Eight of the 11 players who finished among the Top 10 and ties relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Dimi Papadatos (New Pro V1x) won The Victorian Open Championship by two strokes over fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Jake Mcleod (New Pro V1x) and Titleist golf ball loyalist Adam Bland (New Pro V1x).
Papadatos closed with a 1-under-par 71 under difficult weather conditions en route to a 16-under-par 272 victory total.
“I stayed patient all day and it turned out pretty good,” said Papadatos after the performance. “It was a massive grind. I knew it was going to be a long tough day but I played pretty solid golf and didn’t take too many risks.”
This marks the second win on the PGA Tour of Australasia for Papadatos, and his first on home soil after he won the 2014 New Zealand Open.

Erik van Rooyen (Winner): New Titleist Pro V1 golf ball
On the South African Sunshine Tour, Titleist golf ball loyalist Erik van Rooyen (New Pro V1) hit his approach to inside a foot in the first hole of an all-Titleist golf ball, three-way, sudden death playoff, setting himself up for birdie and victory in the Eye of Africa PGA Championship.
The victory was the first of van Rooyen’s Sunshine Tour career.
“I’ve been in there a few times in the last few years that I’ve been on the Sunshine Tour,” said van Rooyen after the breakthrough win. “I think today I really held my composure nicely. Today, I got it done and now the emotions are boiling over a little.”
Van Rooyen, who closed out regulation play with a birdie to finish at 5-under-par 67, was the only player to shoot four consecutive rounds in the 60’s.
His 16-under 272 matched Titleist golf ball loyalists Dylan Frittelli (New Pro V1) and Makhetha Mazibuko (New Pro V1x), setting up the playoff.
