PGA TOUR
It went down to the wire at the Corales Puntacana Club & Resort Championship but a clutch 10-foot birdie putt on the 17th hole proved to be the difference maker for Hudson Swafford (Pro V1) as he claimed his second career PGA TOUR title. Swafford followed his birdie on the 17th with another clutch 8-foot par putt on the final hole to cap off a 3-under 69 en route to an 18-under par 270 victory total. Swafford was the only player in the field to card four consecutive rounds in the 60s this week in the Domincan Republic.
Tyler McCumber (Pro V1x) finished runner-up after firing a final round bogey-free 6-under par 66, including a birdie on the last hole. Making one of the biggest moves of the day, Titleist Brand Ambassador Will Zalatoris shot a Sunday-best 7-under par 65 to race 37 spots up the leaderboard into a tie for 8th, for his second consecutive Top 10 finish - earning him a spot in the field at this week’s Sanderson Farms Championship.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
According to Darrell Survey, for the first time in the young season, Titleist has achieved the feat of sweeping every major equipment category at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship.
From golf balls to drivers, fairway metals and hybrids to utility irons, iron sets, wedges and putters, Titleist was the top choice. Of the 144 players competing this week, 77% (111 players) trusted a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, over nine times the nearest competitor with 12 players (8%).
In addition, there were 36 Titleist drivers in play (25% of the field) with 26 of those being either a new TSi2 or TSi3 model. Titleist irons accounted for nearly one-third of the field with 46 sets in play (32%) – that’s 18 more sets than the nearest competitor. Vokey Design wedges also topped the count with 216 approach, sand and lob wedges in play, that is 54% and nearly four times the nearest competitor (58). And on the greens, Cameron putters led the field once again with 53 in play (37% of the field).
SUNSHINE TOUR
Titleist Brand Ambassador Danie Van Tonder claimed his second victory of the Sunshine Tour’s Rise-Up series when he won the Vodacom Championship Unlocked. Van Tonder carded a final round 67 en route to a 13-under par victory total, finishing one shot clear of fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador MJ Viljoen with Pieter Moolman finishing solo 3rd, and Louis de Jager (Pro V1), Ulrich Van Den Berg (Pro V1) and Darren Fichardt (Pro V1x) all sharing the fourth position at 10-under par as each of the top six finishers trusted Titleist golf balls for their success.
Titleist was the most relied upon golf ball in the field of 107 players with 85 (79%), more than four times the nearest competitor with 19. Fun fact: Titleist players have won all seven events across the Sunshine Tour this season.
