PGA TOUR | The RSM Classic 

In absolute control of his Pro V1x golf ball, Ludvig Aberg played his final 36 holes at Sea Island Golf Club in 18 under par, capturing his first PGA TOUR title with a pair of 61’s over the weekend on the Seaside Course.

• Aberg, 24, posted rounds of 67-64-61-61 to win by four shots, ball-striking his way to his second professional victory less than three months after breaking through at the DP World Tour’s Omega European Masters. 
• Over the three measured rounds on the Seaside Course, Aberg led the field in both Strokes Gained: Tee to Green (8.89) and Strokes Gained: Off the Tee (4.884). 
• He hit 82% of his fairways (46/56), 86% greens in regulation (62/72) and got up-and-down with his Pro V1x nine of 10 times (90%), making just one bogey the entire week.
• In winning the Omega European Masters, Aberg also led the field in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green (+3.76 per round). 
• “Yeah, I felt like I was striking the ball very well all week,” Aberg said Sunday. “To be honest, I feel like I've been striking the ball quite well over the last couple of months.” 
• The PGA TOUR rookie – who became the first player to earn his TOUR card directly out of college by finishing No. 1 in the PGA TOUR University Ranking – played 45 measured rounds over 11 TOUR starts in which he earned eight top-25 finishes, four top-10s and one victory. 
• He ended the season ranked 10th in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green (+1.507), while finishing at the top of multiple statistical categories, including: 
  • 1st in Birdie Average (4.76)  
  • 1st in Eagles - Holes Per (75) 
  • 1st in Ball Striking (4) 
  • 1st in Total Driving (33)  
  • 1st in Going for Green – Birdie or Better (72.81%) 
  • 2nd in Scoring Average - Actual (68.32) 
  • 2nd in Proximity to the Hole (33’ 4) 
  • 2nd in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee (+0.982)  
  • 3rd in Greens in Regulation (73.33%)  
  • 3rd in Bogey Avoidance (12.22%) 
• With the win, he is projected to jump from No. 53 to No. 32 in the official world golf ranking.  

ABERG ON HIS PRO V1x

• “I like to put spin on the ball. I like to hit it a little bit higher to have a little bit of a different angle coming into the firmer greens that we play here on the PGA TOUR. So I think the Pro V1x helps me with that and it helps me to be able to compete against the best players in the world.” 
• “I just love the feel around the greens, putting, chipping, I love the softer feel (of 2023 Pro V1x), and it flights the way that I want to.” 
• “What you want when you’re chipping is that little extra feeling of checking up on the green, and making sure that when the greens get a little firmer and faster, you’re still able to put that spin on it. Which I feel like [the Pro V1x] allows me to do. Chipping and short game is such feel-based – what you like to feel, what you don't like to feel. And this allows me to have that creative mindset.”  
• “As a golfer and as a competitor, you always look for the perfect shot and the perfect execution. It's not always going to show up that way, but at least this golf ball allows you to have that consistency and that way I know exactly what it’s going to do when it reacts on the green, when it reacts in the air. This allows me to have my spin rate in a very consistent level, which allows me to score a bit better as well.” 
• “The Titleist golf ball is the best golf ball there is. I’ve used it for a very long time, it’s something I trust and it’s something that I really enjoy using.”  
• “I used to live in a small town. I would always go into the woods and look for [Pro V1’s]. And every time you found a new one, found a really nice one, that was like the best feeling. So I used to have a ball bag of all my Pro V1’s that I found. Every once in a while you got to go into the pro shop and get a new one, but it didn’t happen very often. So now we're super spoiled. We get new balls every now and then. So, it's really cool and I've played it for a very long time.”  

ABERG LEADS 1-2-3-4 FINISH FOR TITLEIST GOLF BALL PLAYERS 

• Ludvig Aberg (Pro V1x) led a 1-2-3-4 finish for Titleist golf ball players in Sea Island, followed by Mackenzie Hughes (Pro V1x/2nd), Tyler Duncan (Pro V1/T3) and Eric Cole (Pro V1x/T3). 
• They were among 78 percent (122) of players who teed up a Pro V1 or Pro V1x model this week in Georgia, more than nine times the nearest competitor with 13 (8%). 
• Over the 55 events that comprised the 2022-23 PGA TOUR season, Titleist golf balls were teed up a total of 5,123 times (72%), more than seven times the nearest competitor (724/10%). 

LPGA | CME Group Tour Championship 

Amy Yang rolled in her Pro V1x for birdie on the 72nd hole Sunday to card a final-nine 31 and complete a three-shot victory at the LPGA’s season finale.

• Yang, who entered the final round tied for the lead, closed with a 66 and posted 27 under for the week at Tiburon, pulling away from the chasing pack to earn her fifth career LPGA title.  
• Over 72 holes, the 34-year-old made 27 birdies and surrendered just two shots.
• The highlight of the week came on the par-4 13th hole on Sunday, when Yang holed her approach for eagle, her Pro V1x checking up just past the hole and rolling back into the cup. 
• “I had about 80 yards to the pin, and it was helping down a little,” said Yang. “Had a 58 wedge in my hand and I played about 75, just a little off. It went straight to the pin and I saw it land really close to the pin. I had just a quick feeling that, oh, this might go in. And was just so excited to see it went in.” 
• Birdies on Nos. 17 and 18 saw Yang put the finishing touches on her fourth sub-68 round of the week and a three-shot margin of victory. 
• Yang hit 53 of 56 fairways (95%) and 62 of 72 greens (86%) for the week. 

JGTO | Dunlop Phoenix Tournament 

Playing a Pro V1x golf ball, the winner of the 50th playing of the Dunlop Phoenix Tournament made history by becoming the first ever amateur to win the event.

• The 22-year-old is also just the seventh amateur in JGTO history to win on tour.
• After holding the 54-hole lead, a final round 71 saw him post 12 under and win by three. 
• The champion also gamed two Vokey Design SM9 wedges (52.08F, 58.08M).  

ASIAN TOUR | BNI Indonesian Masters 

Titleist Brand Ambassador Gaganjeet Bhullar made eagle on the par-5 18th hole to post 24 under and cap off a five-shot victory.

• Bhullar shot four rounds of 67 or lower (63-67-63-67) around Royale Jakarta GC. 
• Ten of the 11 players finishing inside the top 10 and ties played a Titleist golf ball.
