Just started playing in May 2020 mainly because of a wrist injury which hampered my tennis game and the pandemic makes golf a safer sport to play. Got a box of Titleist Pro V1 balls for my birthday Feb 18th and opened the box to play 18 at the Kings Point Executive course in Delray Beach Florida this morning Feb 28th. My 1st two drives (par 3's) I way overshot. I'd like to think my drives were improving but most likely because switching from practice balls to the Pro V1 ball was night and day for distance even with my Ebay bought Topflight beginners driver. I got to the third hole albeit it a beginners par 3 (115 yards) Ok short but my drive lifted high and bounced 15 feet in front of the flag and rolled perfectly right in. A Kings Point course Ranger parked by the flag raised his hands touch down and my wife and friends looked at me with envy & respect.... of courde that only lasted until I shanked my drive on the next hole!
